I am a veterinarian (University of Helsinki ) and PhD student in the doctoral programme in Integrative Life Science, University of Helsinki. In my dissertation I study the anatomy of Saimaa and Baltic ringed seals. I also aspire to link the anatomical variation to genetic differences in these subspecies. We work in co-operation with Saimaa ringed seal genome project. My supervisors are Juha Laakkonen and Jukka Jernvall.
